Opening Doors Toronto 2019

Thank you to participants and presenters of the Opening Doors Toronto 2019. We were excited to offer three events on this year’s theme of HIV, the New Basics, including a CME (Continuing Medical Education) accredited event targeting health care providers in partnership with Casey House and the Ontario HIV Treatment Network.

Feedback and evaluation indicated strong success in meeting the conference goals of:
  1. Increase our individual and collective understanding of how HIV prevention, engagement and care have changed over time, and how communities, healthcare providers and community support evolved in response.
  2. Contribute insight and ideas to Toronto to Zero efforts to make new HIV transmissions rare and help people with HIV lead long healthy lives, free from stigma and discrimination.
  3. Strengthen participants’ excitement, sense of connection and contribution to the HIV response in Toronto.
Thank you to those presenters who have provided their presentations for your reference.
