We provide prevention education and support for 2-Spirit, including First Nations, metis and Inuit people living with or at risk for HIV and related co-infections in the
Greater Toronto Area. We base our work on indigenous philosophies of wholistic health and wellness.

Action positive VIH / SIDA is a French-speaking, non-profit organization that offers prevention, education and support services and aims to meet the psychosocial needs of people of all origins living with HIV / AIDS, who are affected or who are at risk of contracting it.


Africans in Partnership Against AIDS (APAA)

 Is a volunteer-driven, charitable AIDS Service Organization serving African communities in Toronto. APAA provides unique HIV/AIDS

Education and support in a linguistically and culturally appropriate manner to African peoples. We believe that a supportive environment is essential to the well-being of people living with HIV/AIDS as well as their partners, family and friends.


AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT)

Founded in 1983 by a group of community volunteers, today ACT is a leader in efforts to end AIDS in Toronto. Through HIV and sexual health education, prevention and outreach, we are working towards a city with zero new HIV infections, zero HIV-related stigma and discrimination, and zero AIDS-related deaths.


Alliance for South Asian AIDS Prevention (ASAAP)

ASAAP`s work is focused on areas that many South Asians find uncomfortable facing, such as sexuality, sexual health and homophobia. The shame and guilt associated with conversations on sexual health impede access to information and fuel our work even today


Asian Community AIDS Services (ACAS)

Asian Community AIDS Services (ACAS) is a charitable, non-profit, community-based organization located in Toronto, Canada. We provide safer sex education and services to the East and Southeast Asian communities and support services to persons living with HIV/AIDS and members of the LGBTQ communities.

Barrett House provides a dignified, caring and homelike environment for persons living with HIV and AIDS who require ongoing care.


Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention (Black CAP)

Since 1989, the Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention (Black CAP) has worked to respond to the threat of HIV and AIDS in Toronto’s African, Caribbean and Black communities. Our work is guided by our motto, ‘Because All Black People’s Lives Are Important’, which serves as a reminder of our commitment to the human rights and dignity of all Black people who are vulnerable to HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

David Kelley HIV/AIDS Community Counselling Program

David Kelley Services (DKS) Program is named after the late David Kelley, one of the founders of the Toronto Counselling Centre for Lesbians and Gays (TCCLG). The program was established in 1996 after TCCLG merged with Family Service Toronto.

We are committed to trauma-informed, anti-oppression practices to help empower LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and families, as well as people living with, affected by or concerned about HIV/AIDS, and to enhance participation in their communities and in the broader society.


Deaf Outreach Program

The Deaf Outreach Program (DOP) provides education and support services relating to HIV/AIDS in the Deaf & Hard of Hearing communities in Ontario in Canada.

LetsStopAIDS is a youth-driven Canadian charity that inspires youth to take action, relating to HIV, within local communities. We focus on HIV prevention and knowledge exchange by engaging youth and fostering leadership.


LOFT Community Services

LOFT Community Services provides support and hope to people facing complex mental and physical health challenges, addictions, dementia, homelessness or risk of homelessness. LOFT stands for Leap of Faith Together and we’re there where there are few others, reaching out in response to unmet needs.

McEwan Housing and Support Services

A program of LOFT Community Services, we provide supportive housing for men and women, sixteen years of age or older, with special needs (such as mental health or addiction related issues) and living with HIV/AIDS.


Maggie’s – Toronto Sex Worker Action Project

Maggie’s is an organization run for and by sex workers. Our mission is to assist sex workers in our efforts to live and work with safety and dignity. We are founded on the belief that in order to improve our circumstances, sex workers must control our own lives and destinies. Maggie’s advocates that we should all have the right to choose or reject sex work, just as we have the right to choose or reject any other kind of work.


Mount Sinai Clinic for HIV-Related Concerns

The Clinic for HIV-Related Concerns has been providing comprehensive mental health services to those infected and affected by HIV since 1986. It is a multi-disciplinary clinic which includes psychiatrists and psychotherapists with social work, nursing and occupational therapy backgrounds.


PASAN (Prisoners’ HIV/AIDS Support Action Network)

PASAN is a community-based prisoner health and harm reduction organization that provides support, education and advocacy to prisoners and ex-prisoners across Canada.


Parkdale Queen West Community Heath Centre

Parkdale Queen West CHC) is a community-based health service organization serving south-west Toronto.


Philip Aziz Centre & Emily House (PAC)

Philip Aziz Centre (PAC) is a non-profit, home hospice program providing practical, physical, emotional, and spiritual support for people living with cancer, HIV/AIDS and other life-limiting illnesses.  Hospice services are delivered through a small professional staff team and large base of trained volunteers, who work in collaboration with healthcare professionals and other agencies involved in client care.


Regent Park Community Heath Centre (RPCHC)

RPCHC works with the people who live and work in the area to improve the health and wellbeing of the people who live here and the community as a whole. We offer a wide range of services and programs – some of them accessible by everybody, some of them more focused, some of them about specific health issues, some of them about building on people’s capacity to take action on common issues impacting health…but all of them about building the health of this dynamic community.


Sherbourne Health Centre

Like the unique mosaic at our front door, Sherbourne was shaped by our communities.  As with our programs and services, when the pieces are put together, the different colours and textures form something inviting, vibrant and relevant to the people we serve.  We work closely with our partners and community members. Our primary care and chronic disease management services, health promotion and education, outreach and social supports, and mental health services work together to provide transformative care and support.


South Riverdale Community Health Centre (SRCHC)

South Riverdale Community Health Centre is a non-profit, multi-service organizaton that provides primary healthcare, social and community outreach services with an emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention primarily to people of East Toronto.


Unity Health Toronto – 95 Homewood Ave

The family health team has a group of internationally renowned HIV specialists who help guide and maintain care for people living with HIV and those at risk of infection with HIV or other blood-borne illnesses, including Hepatitis C. We provide HIV testing, testing and treatment for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), sexual health counseling, management of HIV, addiction services, mental health services, prevention of HIV including PREP and PEP, testing and management of Hepatitis B and C.

Our team includes physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, social workers, and dietitians.


Unity Health Toronto – Positive Care Program

At Unity Health – St. Michael’s Hospital, the Positive Care Program team and the inpatient team work together to provide total Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) care and services to you and your family. We provide patient care in several areas of the hospital according to your health care needs.


The Neighbourhood Group Community Services

The Neighbourhood Group Community Services (formerly St. Stephen’s Community House) is a unique, community-based social service agency that has been serving the needs of Kensington Market and other neighbourhoods in Toronto since 1962. Sunnybrook Hospital – Anita Rachlis HIV Clinic

The multidisciplinary HIV ambulatory clinic provides care for patients with HIV-related infectious diseases, as well as management of HIV-related renal and endocrine disorders in addition to nursing, social work and nutritional counseling.

Toronto Public Health

Toronto Public Health (TPH) reports to the Board of Health and is responsible for the health and well-being of all 2.9 million residents. TPH has focused on protecting and promoting the health of Toronto residents since 1883 by:

    • preventing the spread of disease, promoting healthy living, and advocating for conditions that improve health for Toronto residents
    • using surveillance to monitor the health status of the population to respond to on-going and emerging health needs
    • developing and implementing public policy and practices that enhance the health of individuals, communities, and the entire city

We provide specialized consultation to you and your family doctor on how to best manage your HIV care. After every appointment you have in our clinic, we will send a detailed letter to your family doctor.

Our goal is to empower you to meet your personal health goals. Our care is based on the principles of accessibility, comprehensiveness, health promotion and patient satisfaction. Women’s Health in Women’s Hands (WHIWH)
